<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for appropriately connecting a terminal of a package with a contact of the socket. <P>SOLUTION: A socket includes: a plurality of elastically deformable contacts; and a frame which holds the contacts. The contacts have: upper side contact parts; and lower side contact parts. The contacts are held by a contact holding part so that they are not elastically deformed and at least become movable between projected positions where the upper side contact parts project upward from the upper surface of the frame and non-projected positions where the upper side contact parts do not project from the upper surface of the frame. Furthermore, the frame has a package position confirmation part, and constituted so that a part of a package can be visually recognized, and matching of positions in the horizontal plane between a terminal of the package and the upper side contact parts is indirectly confirmed when the frame is viewed from the lower part of the frame at a state that the package is loaded on the upper surface of the frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
