<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk facilitating the adjustment of the height of a top board. <P>SOLUTION: The desk 1 includes the top board 2, and left/right side plates 3 and 3 suspending from the left/right of the top board 2. Left/right leg plates 4 and 4 whose bottom ends come into contact with a floor surface are attached to the side plates 3 and 3 so as to change the vertical position. The leg plates 4 and 4 are provided with guide parts 11 and 11 projecting to the side of the side plates 3 and 3 and extend in the vertical direction, while the side plates 3 and 3 are provided with parts 12 and 12 to be guided that are engaged with the guide parts 11 and 11.
