The present invention is to provide a strip surface inspection apparatus (10) comprising: a first movement element (20) to move a strip (A) wound in a coil shape; and a second movement element (30) installed in a longitudinal direction on a lower part of the first movement element (20) to move the strip (A), and to provide a turning element for a strip surface inspection apparatus comprising a turning element (100) installed in a rear of the first movement element (20) to supply the strip (A) to the second movement element by rotating the strip (A) which is being moved, wherein the turning member (100) comprises: a body (110); a support roller (120) installed to be capable of rotating on one side of the center of the body (110); a driving unit (130) to rotate the support roller (120); a support body (140) installed to be capable of rotating on both sides of the support roller (120); a fixing roller (150) installed to be capable of moving up and down on one side of the support body (140) to contact an external diameter of the support roller (120); a movement member (160) to move the fixing roller (150) up and down; and a clutch (170) installed between the support roller (120) and the support body (140). The present invention is capable of smoothly performing a surface inspection on the upper and lower surfaces by turning the strip wound in a coil shape such that the positions of the upper and lower surfaces can be changed. In addition, the present invention is capable of previously preventing accidents by stably turning the strip.
