In a positioning method for estimating the position of a terminal by being linked with a plurality of positioning resources, if a second starting point position based on absolute coordinate position information from a positioning resource and the reliability of the second starting point position are calculated, updating the starting point position for estimating the position of a user is performed selectively, according as the reliability of the second starting point position satisfies a previously established starting point point update criterion, under the state that a first starting point position is calculated on the basis of the absolute coordinate position information provided from one positioning resource. The objective of the present invention is to provide a positioning service with further higher reliability. |
