The present invention discloses an ultrasound apparatus and a method for providing information thereof. The method includes: a step of acquiring ultrasound image data for an object; a step of displaying a gain setting window for setting a gain value of the acquired ultrasound image data in a first area of a screen; a step of receiving a set gain value from a user through the gain setting window; and a step of displaying the ultrasound image for the object to which the set gain value is applied in a second area of the screen.
