Disclosed is an immersion type filtration apparatus capable of effectively preventing the contamination of a hollow fiber membrane due to the filtration operation, minimizing power consumption of the filtration operation, and easily removing sludge deposited in the filtration apparatus during the filtration operation. The immersion type filtration apparatus of the present invention, which performs the filtration operation by being immersed in raw water to be treated, comprises: a frame; a flat membrane which encloses the frame and produces first filtered water by performing a primary filtration operation for raw water; and a hollow fiber membrane module which is mounted in the frame and produces second filtered water by performing a secondary filtration operation for the first filtered water.
