摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling an internal combustion engine, operating battery voltage raising means within a range not affecting valve opening of a fuel injection valve during stopping of the internal combustion engine, and shortening a time period for operating the battery voltage raising means to save energy.SOLUTION: A device for controlling an internal combustion engine stops fuel supply from a fuel injection valve after the lapse of a first predetermined time from a stop command of the internal combustion engine, stops an operation of battery voltage raising means after the lapse of a second predetermined time longer than the first predetermined time, and disconnects a main relay of the control device after the lapse of a third predetermined time longer than the second predetermined time. The device can suppress accidental fire due to opening failure of the fuel injection valve or deterioration of exhausting performance due to combustion failure, and can reduce a loss of electric power by stopping the battery voltage raising means before disconnecting the main relay.
