<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for easily obtaining an existing density distribution and a flow velocity distribution of powder flowing in a channel, which indicate a flow condition of the powder. <P>SOLUTION: A flow condition calculation method is a method for calculating a flow condition of powder flowing in a channel and includes: an acquisition step where a computer acquires initial condition data including at least data relating to flow performance characteristics representing a correspondence relation between an existing density and a flow velocity of powder in a channel; a calculation step where the computer numerically calculates an existing density distribution and a flow velocity distribution of the powder by using a continuity equation representing the laws of conservation of mass and the flow performance characteristics; and an output step where the computer outputs the calculation result of the calculation step to an output device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
