The present invention relates to a real time wall-thinning monitoring device of a high temperature pipe by a SH-waveguide. More specifically, the device includes an ultrasonic transmitting module including an ultrasonic probe for transmission, and a waveguide for transmission connected to the ultrasonic probe and delivering ultrasonic energy by having an end make contact with a pipe; an ultrasonic receiving module including a waveguide for reception having an end make contact with the pipe, and delivering an ultrasonic signal by multiple reflections in the pipe, and a ultrasonic probe for reception connected to the waveguide for reception; a combination unit connected to the pipe, and having the waveguides attached to the pipe; a thermocouple measuring the real time temperature of the pipe by being connected to the pipe; and a control part converting arrival time of an ultrasonic wave, delivered through the ultrasonic transmitting and receiving modules, into thickness but correcting the speed of the ultrasonic wave according to the real time temperature delivered through the thermocouple. |
