A manufacturing method for a display device is provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the manufacturing method for a display device comprises the steps of: surface-treating at least one surface of surfaces where a carrier substrate and a mother substrate face each other; performing a thin film formation process on the mother substrate; and separating the carrier substrate and the mother substrate, wherein the thin film formation process includes a heat treatment step, and the surface-treatment step includes a step of treating an inorganic or organic acid and adjusts the amount of -OH, -OH_2^+ and -O^- groups of at least one surface of the surfaces where the carrier substrate and the mother substrate face each other. |
