The present invention relates to a hybrid-type fiber filtration apparatus. More particularly, the invention relates to a fiber filtration apparatus wherein an occupied space is reduced by being formed in a double layer, raw water is primarily filtered by fiber yarn filter media in an upper layer and secondarily filtered by fiber ball filter media, and therefore, a filtering performance is improved. To achieve the aforementioned purpose, the hybrid-type fiber filtration apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an outer box comprising an upper box and a lower box in communication with the upper box; a strainer installed inside the upper box in a longitudinal direction; a plurality of fiber yarn filter media fixedly installed to an upper and a lower fixing means each coupled to an upper and a lower portion of the strainer and for surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the strainer so as to form a first filter medium layer; and a plurality of fiber ball filter media embedded in the lower box and forming a second filter medium layer wherein raw water, which is introduced to the upper box through a raw water inlet pipe connected to one side wall of the lower portion of the upper box, passes through the first filter medium layer, flows into the strainer, falls down inside the strainer, flows into the lower box, passes through the second filter medium layer and flows out through a filtered water outlet pipe connected to a lower portion of the lower box.
