Provided are an audio apparatus and a method for transmitting an audio signal and an audio system. The method for transmitting an audio signal includes receiving an audio signal from a first external device by wireless, processing the received signal with the audio signal of multichannel, and transmits at least one among the processed audio signals of the multichannel to at least one second external device by wireless. Therefore, the audio apparatus communicates with external devices by wireless so a user can connect an audio device to an external device without completed wire connection.
