Disclosed are a method for providing a voice recognition-based service and an apparatus thereof. The method for providing a voice recognition-based service includes: a step of recognizing voice inputted by a user and extracting a plurality of keywords; a step of combining the extracted keywords and determining a type of action; and a step of providing a service according to the determined type of action.
