<p>Disclosed are a wireless LAN device and a method for authenticating a vehicle using the same. The wireless LAN device includes: a wireless LAN access unit which transmits and receives data through wireless LAN communication; a mobile communication network access unit which transmits and receives data through a mobile communication network; a processor that is connected with the wireless LAN access unit and the mobile communication network access unit, is connected with a driver terminal located in a range of wireless LAN communication, inter-authenticates with the driver terminal, and transmits vehicle information, including driver information provided by the driver terminal, to a passenger terminal accessing the wireless LAN; and a memory which stores information of a driver, a vehicle, a passenger, a traffic device, and authentication.</p> |
