<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hoist device using a hydraulic cylinder, of which an overall size can be reduced even if the hydraulic cylinder operated by hydraulic power is used, wherein the device can be installed in a narrow indoor workspace, etc. In accordance with the present invention, in the hoist device using the hydraulic cylinder, a first pulley member (10) has a first central axis (13) on which a first right pulley (11) and a first left pulley (12) are installed, and a second pulley member (30) has a second central axis (33) on which a second right pulley (31) and a second left pulley (32) are installed. Ropes (70) are wound on the first right pulley (11), the first left pulley (12), the second right pulley (31), and the second left pulley (32), respectively, and a plurality of pulley plate bodies capable of independently rotating are disposed in parallel.
