The present invention relates to a device for a lens light emitting and a lamp employing the same. The lens includes a light entering surface for emitting light emitted from a light emitting device and a light exiting surface which emits light emitted from the light entering surface. The light entering surface has a concave part symmetrical to an axis on the reference light axis of the light emitting device. The light exiting surface is symmetrical to an axis on the reference light axis of the light emitting device and has a downward curved surface which is recessed with a Fresnel lens shape. The thickness of the lens is minimized. A desired light distribution effect can be obtained.
