A method for controlling a device includes the steps of: collecting location information of the device; generating metadata with respect to a moving section by analyzing a moving route and moving time of the device from the collected location information; receiving the location information of the device; generating prediction information with respect to the moving route and the moving time of the device based on the received location information and the metadata; and controlling the device based on the prediction information.
