<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for extruding an applied material which readily and reliably inhibits the leakage of the applied material from an opening. <P>SOLUTION: In the container, when a body cylinder and an operation cylinder are relatively rotated in one direction, a moving body and a piston are moved forward by the action of threaded engagement of a threaded engagement portion, and the applied material in a filling area is extruded and dispensed from an opening portion. The container includes a cam mechanism 20 for moving the moving body and the piston forward by a certain amount and then moving them backward by a certain amount every time of relative rotation of the body cylinder and operation cylinder in the one direction by a certain amount. When the body cylinder and the operation cylinder are relatively rotated in the one direction by the fixed amount, the applied material is extruded and dispensed by the cam mechanism 20, and the filling area is depressurized.
