The present invention relates to an optical film for a display using a side film and, more specifically, to the optical film for a display using the side film which winds an additional side film by arranging the side film at an edge part of both sides in a width direction of a pattern film roll, and forms micro unevenness at an edge part of both sides in a width direction of a base film, and solves separation problem during winding by removing fault generation resulted from that an uncoated area is pushed.
