The present invention relates to an inflammatory effect of a pueraria radix extract, and more specifically, to a composition for preventing and treating inflammasomes-mediated inflammatory diseases including a pueraria radix extract as an active ingredient. Also, the present invention relates to a health food composition for preventing and treating inflammasomes-mediated inflammatory diseases including a pueraria radix extract as an active ingredient, and to a health food which is characterized by including the same. The composition in the present invention uses an inflammatory effect of the pueraria radix extract, thereby having an excellent effect of preventing and treating inflammasomes-mediated diseases.
