A cable tidy comprises a first part 1 with a plate and a spindle 3 with two slots 4, 5, and a second part 2 with a plate 10, a peripheral wall 11 with two spaced apart wall openings 12, 13 and means for connecting parts 1, 2 such that first part 1 rotates relative to second part 2. In use, a cable is inserted through slots 4, 5 and wall openings 12, 13 such that rotation winds the cable around spindle 3. Wall 11 may have three portions separated by three openings. The circumferential length of each opening 12, 13 may be greater than the circumferential length of each portion. Spindle 3 may be located in an aperture 14. The distal ends of spindle 3 may have an enlarged diameter compared to a stem and may be displaceable towards each other. Aperture 14 may have an internal surface forming a cam and the internal diameter may decrease from its edges to a throat (35 fig 6). Spindle 3 may have four portions 3a-d forming four openings, one of which may have reduced width. The cable tidy may be personalised. There may be a locking clip (23 fig 7) which may include a pin (25 fig 7) and/or a belt clip (32 fig 9). |
