PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform maintenance and repair by accurately acquiring time-series shredding states by a shredding mechanism.SOLUTION: A communication type shredder 11 includes: a shredding mechanism 2 for shredding a sheet-like material 1; use history recognition means 3 that recognizes use history information associated with time-series uses of the shredding mechanism 2; storage means 4 that readably stores machine body information including at least the use history information recognized by the use history recognition means 3 and machine body specification information for specifying a machine body of the management object shredder 11; communication means 5 enabling the information communication with a management communication destination M; and communication control means 6 that performs control so that at least the machine body specification information and the use history information of the machine body information stored in the storage means 4 can be transmitted to the management communication destination M using the communication means 5. Further, a shredder management system includes a management device 12 that manages the operation state of the shredder 11 on the basis of the machine body information transmitted from the transmission type shredder 11. |
