<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake hinge mechanism which makes a movable body open at about 180 degrees with respect to a fixed body and which is suitable to a flip-up type counter installed in a convenience store, a dining kitchen for business use, a snack bar, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A brake hinge mechanism comprises: a first torque hinge which is attached to a movable body and rotates freely in one rotative direction; a second torque hinge which is attached to a fixed body and rotates freely in the same rotative direction as that of the first torque hinge; and an oblong link plate which rotatably connects the first and second torque hinges to each other. The brake hinge mechanism allows the movable body to rotate freely from a complete closure state to an opening state of about 90 degrees, and thereafter brakes the rotation of the movable body up to an opening state of 180 degrees. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
