The present invention relates to a penetration type plate-shaped anchor and an installation method thereof, wherein the penetration type plate-shaped anchor includes: a plate-shaped anchor part which is joined to the bottom of a suction pile to be detached and is inserted into the ocean floor; and a hinge part to support the plate-shaped anchor part to be folded. The hinge part is joined to a wire of which one end is joined to a floating structure. The hinge part is pulled by the floating structure after the removal of the suction pile to make the plate-shaped anchor part be unfolded and inserted into the ocean floor.
