The present invention relates to a scan-type automatic steam iron which comprises: a base plate for placing clothing to be pressed thereon; a pair of vertical guide bars which are provided on both sides of the base plate and are configured to perform a horizontal reciprocating motion along both sides of the base plate; and a steam iron of which both sides are fixated by the vertical guide bars and which is moved upward and downward from an upper portion of the base plate along the vertical guide bars. |
