SEALED LATHE CONVEYOR PULLEY CLEANER

A conveyor belt pulley cleaner characterized as a sealed lathe like device which cleans the pulley drum outside diameter from material build up. The cleaner utilizes a cutting tool which fully traverses the width of the pulley in both directions to remove material build up. In addition, the cutting tooth is removable and the protruding length can be adjusted while the conveyor is operating. Furthermore, the pulley cleaner has a continuous seal which prevents cuttings and debris from contaminating the cleaner internal components. The cleaner is symmetric and is easily modified for all mounting orientations including top cut and bottom cut of the pulley face. The cleaner drive motor and tooth block holder are accessible outside the operating area allowing for online maintenance without shutting down the conveyor belt. No components of the cleaner are in contact with rotating pulley while it is in the maintenance position.
