PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow transmission of a signal in MIMO method which is transmitted/received between a slave station terminal and an MIMO master station with less number of optical fiber circuits by subordinate modulation using less number of light sources than the number of antennas, for each uplink and downlink, between the master station in which an MIMO transmission/reception device is installed and an antenna station.SOLUTION: At the time of signal transmission, such combination is continuously performed as includes that optical intensity modulation is applied to optical carrier waves emitted from a light source 21 using an optical modulator 22 and that wavelength dispersion is added by a transmission side wavelength dispersion controller 23, in correspondence to each of a plurality of antenna ports 2. At the time of signal reception, the wavelength dispersion amount that is applied to the light propagated from the light source 21 on transmission side to a photodetector 36 on reception side is adjusted by adding wavelength dispersion using a reception side wavelength dispersion controller 35, so that the reception intensity of a specific signal S is made higher than the reception intensity of other signals at respective photodetectors 36. |
