摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a control method for a master slave type manipulator, which efficiently perform processing of matching the posture of the master manipulator with that of the slave master manipulator being the new operation target, when a slave manipulator being an operation target of a master manipulator is switched to another slave manipulator by switching operation.SOLUTION: The control device for the master slave type manipulator includes: contact sensors 311R and 311L for detecting whether the hand of an operator 3 is located in the master manipulator; and a control circuit 300 performing control to move the master manipulator so that the posture of the master manipulator is matched with that of the slave manipulator, when contact sensors 331R and 331L detect that the hand of the operator 3 is not located in the master manipulator.
