<p>A movable body-moving device is provided with an engagement chain (12), a receiving section (13), a movable body (14), an extendible link mechanism (15), and a guide section (16). The engagement chain (12) is configured so that a pair of chain members (31, 32) is integrated when the engagement chain (12) moves in the extension direction (Z1) and so that the pair of chain members (31, 32) is separated when the engagement chain (12) moves in the retraction direction (Z2). The extendible link mechanism (15) has: a third arm member (43) and a fourth arm member (44), which intersect at a support shaft (34) as the center of the intersection and which are pivotally connected; a first arm member (41) and a second arm member (42), which are connected to the receiving section (13); and a seventh arm member (47) and an eighth arm member (48), which are connected to the movable body (14).
