<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate or eliminate a delay and slow restart of an internal combustion engine with an idle stop system. <P>SOLUTION: In idle stop, the opening of a throttle valve is reduced to be equal to or smaller than a predetermined opening. When engine speed is equal to or lower than a predetermined value, the throttle valve with the reduced opening is temporarily opened larger than the predetermined opening, and is reclosed. When an accelerator pedal is depressed during idle stop control, the opening of the throttle valve is operated to be set to a required opening or larger according to the pressing amount of the accelerator pedal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
