The invention disclose a storage tank (1) of the type comprising a tank floor (2), surrounded by a tank wall (3), and where the tank is covered by a flexible cover (4), such that the floor, wall and cover enclose an inner volume, wherein along the periphery of the wall's upper edge is arranged a walkway (10), which walkway extends into the tank, and where said flexible cover is fastened to said walkway.
