The present invention relates to electric pruning shears, which comprises: a case having a mounting space inside; a pipe unit having one side installed to be rotated at a support pipe extended from the case, and formed to be adjustable in length; a cutting unit having a fixed blade fixed to an end of the pipe unit, and having a cutting blade connected to the fixed blade to be rotated in order to cut a branch with the fixed blade; a driving unit having a driving motor installed inside the case, and having a power conversion unit connected to one side of the driving motor in order to convert a rotational movement of the driving motor into a rectilinear movement; an operation unit having a switch unit for selecting a rotation direction of the driving motor, and having a control unit for controlling motion of the driving motor according to operation of the switch unit; a driving transfer unit in which one side is connected to the driving unit, and the other side is connected to the cutting blade, and which transfers power generated from the driving unit to the cutting blade in order to allow the cutting unit to perform a cutting motion or a release motion depending on the operational status of the driving unit; and a battery unit for providing the power to the driving unit. |
