摘要 <p>Disclosed are an organic electroluminescent display device and a manufacturing method thereof. The organic electroluminescent display device of the present invention comprises: a substrate including a plurality of pixel areas; a thin film transistor formed on each of the pixel areas; a first flattening film formed on the thin film transistor; a reflected layer formed on the flattening film; an organic light emitting device which is formed on the reflected layer and emits light by including a first electrode, an organic light emitting layer, and a second electrode; and a color filter formed between the reflected layer and the organic light emitting device. Therefore, the organic electroluminescent display device and the manufacturing method thereof according to the present invention can prevent external light reflection by forming the color filter on a reflected plate and increase a light emitting efficiency and improve brightness. Moreover, the process can be simplified by omitting the process to bond a color filter substrate to the outside by including the color filter in the inner side. There is no necessity for considering a process margin. Misalignment can be prevented and the thickness can be reduced. Furthermore, the present invention can be applied to a transparent flexible organic electroluminescent display device and offers an advantage to high resolution applications.</p>
