Disclosed are an arrival time based time synchronization and node location acquisition method and an apparatus thereof. The time synchronization and node location acquisition method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a message broadcasted from each of a plurality of reference nodes and a coordinator node at a first frame; broadcasting a time synchronization request message including each reception time of each received message at the first frame; receiving a time synchronization message broadcasted from the coordinator node at a second frame; synchronizing the coordinator node and time using the information included in the received time synchronization message at the second frame; receiving a node location acquisition message broadcasted from each reference node at the second frame; and calculating the distance from each reference node using the information included in each received location acquisition message at the second frame, and acquiring its own location using the distance from the calculated distance from each reference node.
