<p>A length adjustable pipe stanchion having a loosening prevention function and a grounding structure comprises: a ground surface plate to support a ground surface to connect a plurality of pipes; and a vertical bar vertically mounted on the ground surface plate. The length adjustable pipe stanchion having a loosening prevention function and a grounding structure further comprises: a mounting part disposed on the vertical bar, formed in a U-shape, and provided with screw threads formed inwardly from both ends thereof; a mounting plate provided with mounting holes formed thereon and into which both ends of the mounting part are inserted and pressure recesses formed around the mounting holes in a sawtooth shape, and whose rear surface contacts the vertical bar; and a U-bolt member comprised of a bolt mounted on the screw threads and provided with a mounting recess formed on a rear portion thereof in a sawtooth shape. If the mounting plate is pressed by the bolt, the pressure recesses and the mounting recess become out of alignment to increase mounting strength. Therefore, an electric panel is not easily loosened from the stanchion to prevent a drop accident. A grounding structure is formed to protect a worker from an injury caused by a short circuit induced in the electric panel. The stanchion can also work as a utility pole at night.</p> |
