The present invention provides a sodium-sulfur battery. According to the present invention, the sodium-sulfur battery includes: a solid beta-alumina ceramic electrolyte; a cartridge tube which is arranged in the solid electrolyte and is filled with sodium (Na) used as a cathode active material; an anode container which is arranged on the outside of the solid electrolyte and is filled with an anode felt injected with the sulfur used as an anode active material; and a cathode support felt which is arranged between the solid electrolyte and the cartridge tube and applies the opposite stress to the solid electrolyte to offset the stress applied to the solid electrolyte by the anode felt.
