<p>Disclosed is a spindle motor which includes a lower thrust member which is fixedly installed on a base member, a shaft whose lower end is fixedly installed on the lower thrust member and includes a flange part on the upper end thereof, a rotating member which is rotationally installed on the shaft and includes an insertion groove into which the flange part is inserted, and a cap member which is installed on the rotating member to shield the upper side of the insertion groove. An in-pumping groove is formed on at least one of an outer circumference of the flange part and a facing surface of the rotating member which faces the outer circumference of the flange part. The end of the in-pumping groove is separated from a vapor-liquid interface.</p> |
