The present invention relates to a quarter-wave slot antenna. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the quarter-wave slot antenna comprises: a planar metal plate formed on an upper part of a substrate; a slot arranged in a condition in which one side is a short circuit and the other side is opened of boundary conditions of both ends of the planar metal plate; a metal body controlling an effective loaded wavelength by being arranged to face an inner longitudinal surface of the slot and an outer circumferential surface of the planar metal plate in parallel; and a feed line formed on a lower part of the substrate. The quarter-wave slot antenna can be miniaturized more than the conventional quarter-wave slot antenna by adopting a T-shape metal body.
