发明名称 Air volume control device and air volume control method
摘要 An air volume control device determines whether or not a cooling capacity of an electronic device fulfills a predetermined cooling capacity. Then, if it is determined that the cooling capacity of the electronic device is failing to fulfill the predetermined cooling capacity, the air volume control device decreases the number of revolutions of a fan for cooling the electronic device. For example, the air volume control device compares a temperature of a heating element provided in the electronic device before a change in the number of revolutions of the fan with that after the change in the number of revolutions of the fan. If the temperature of the heating element is increased when the number of revolutions of the fan is increased, the air volume control device determines that the cooling capacity of the electronic device is failing to fulfill the predetermined cooling capacity.

主权项 1. An air volume control device, comprising: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory, wherein the processor is programmed to (a) periodically measure a temperature of an electronic component,(b) measure a processing load on the electronic component,(c)determine whether or not a cooling capacity of an electronic device fulfills a predetermined cooling capacity based on the measured temperature and measured processing load of the electronic component,(d) decrease the number of revolutions of a fan for cooling the electronic device when it is determined that the cooling capacity of the electronic device is failing to fulfill the predetermined cooling capacity,(e) determine whether a steady state is achieved or not, the steady state being a state in which the fan is stably operated with the number of revolutions being restored to a predetermined number of revolution, and(f) determine, when it is determined that the steady state is achieved, whether recirculation stops or not, and return to a step (b) when it is determined that the steady state is not achieved.
