The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device which includes a display panel which includes a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines, pixels whose polarities are inverted with a dot inversion type and TFTs which are arranged in zigzag along the data lines and a data driving unit which supplies voltages whose polarities are inverted with a column inversion type to the data lines. The output of the data driving unit is supplies to the data lines as the sequence of an i^th video data voltage (i is an integral number), a first virtual data voltage, a second virtual data voltage, and a (i+1)^th data voltage. The i^th video data voltage, the second virtual data voltage, and the (i+1)^th video data voltage are the voltages of first polarities. The (i+1)^th data voltage is the voltage of a second polarity. |
