<p>According to the present invention, the number of lighting devices and the illumination suitable for an indoor space can be calculated automatically, thereby reducing man-hours and time required for design of an indoor space and supporting the design of a suitable lighting system for an indoor space to improve work efficiency and ensure safe job activities of workers. A method for web-based calculation of illumination in an indoor space may comprise the steps of: a) receiving elemental data for calculation of indoor illumination; b) calculating ceiling, room and floor coefficients based on the elemental data received; c) automatically calculating the number of lighting devices to satisfy the illumination required for the indoor space, based on the elemental data received; and d) automatically calculating illumination in the indoor space, based on ceiling, room and floor coefficients and the number of lighting devices.</p> |
