The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fishing rod which prevents damage by allowing an end of reinforced fiber not to be exposed, and has a tip with improved bending strength, wherein a taper is formed on surfaces of the tip. The fishing rod has the solid tip (12) of a fiber reinforcing resin agent in which the reinforced fiber is consecutively formed over the axis length direction, and forms the taper (12A) which becomes thinner by being shifted into a front end on surfaces of the tip (12). A coating layer (20) of the fiber reinforcing resin agent in which short fiber is dispersed into a matrix resin material is formed on surfaces of the tip. |
