An ultrasound probe to generate an ultrasound image comprises: a transducer having a piezoelectric layer which mutually changes an electric signal and an ultrasound signal while a piezoelectric material is vibrated; a sound cover surrounding the transducer; and a fluid filling a space between the transducer and the sound cover. According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is an ultrasound probe to generate an ultrasound image wherein the velocity of sound in a fluid is lower than the velocity of sound in a body.
