<p>A communications interface apparatus according to one aspect of the present invention can perform the automatic conversion of protocols for communications between devices which use different protocols, and is mounted in an industrial controller to connect other devices to the industrial controller. The communications interface apparatus comprises: a receiver which determines the transmitting protocol of first communication data and parses and stores the first communication data according to the transmission protocol thereof, when the first communication data is received from a transmitting device among the other devices; and a transmitter which determines the reception protocol of the first communication data and rearranges the first communication data according to the reception protocol thereof to generate second communication data and transmits the second communication data to a receiving device among the other devices, when the first communication data is stored by the receiver, wherein the receiver comprises analysis parts, the number of which to be generated is as the same as that of the received first communication data, so as to parse the first communication data, and the transmitter comprises analysis parts, the generated number of which to be generated is as the same as that of the stored first communication data, so as to generate the second communication data.</p> |
