1. A method comprising:
transmitting, from a game server comprising a processor, a poll to a social network system via a network and a social graph application programming interface (API), wherein the poll comprises a prompt, at least two responses to the prompt, and an identifier associated with each response that is linked to a specific game change; receiving, at the game server from the social network system via the social graph API, a result associated with each identifier; calculating, using the game server processor, a winning identifier based on the received results by aggregating the received results associated with each identifier, wherein the winning identifier is the identifier with the highest number of results; processing, on a gaming module of the game server, the specific game change associated with the winning identifier; and transmitting the specific game change from the game server to at least one game client, wherein the game client is a requesting game client. |
