Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with echo cancellation are described. According to one embodiment, a method includes generating, in a communication device, an address to a look-up table by using a first signal and a second signal. The look-up table is a two-dimensional look-up table configured to store a plurality of cancellation values arranged in a two-dimensional grid. The method also includes producing, in the communication device, a cancellation signal according to a cancellation value in the look-up table that corresponds to the address.

1. A communication device, comprising:
a communication path configured to receive and transmit signals; a look-up table configured to store a plurality of cancellation values arranged in a two-dimensional grid, wherein the plurality of cancellation values are used to cancel non-linear distortion from the communication path; and a cancelling circuit configured to use the look-up table to determine a cancellation value from the plurality of cancellation values to apply to the communication path to compensate for the non-linear distortion on the communication path, wherein the cancelling circuit is further configured to determine the cancellation value by addressing the look-up table using a first signal and a second signal.
