The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fishing rod which has properties of being flexible and difficult to be damaged, and has a tip obtaining the properties on a required area as needed. The fishing rod (1) of the present invention has the tip (12) of a fiber reinforcing resin agent. The tip (12) comprises a short fiber reinforcing resin body (60) which has 3 to 50 wt% of short fiber in which the average fiber diameter is 3 to 15 μm, and the average fiber length is 0.5 to 10 μm, and is formed to be dispersed into a matrix resin material. A prepreg sheet (62) which covers at least a part, arranges reinforced fiber in one direction not to be twisted, and impregnates a synthetic resin is covered in an outer circumference of the short fiber reinforcing resin body (60). |
