<p>The present invention provides a method to extract an iron component of a nickel smelting process comprising: an oxidation step of adding an oxidizer to an acid leaching solution containing nickel and iron produced in a nickel smelting process to oxidize a bivalent iron ion into a trivalent iron ion; and an extraction step of adding an acidic extraction agent to the acid leaching solution where the oxidizer is added to extract an iron component. According to the present invention, when the method to extract an iron component of a nickel smelting process is used, the iron component can effectively be extracted through a preliminary treatment process when a valuable metal component is recovered from the acid leaching solution containing the nickel and the iron to achieve high-purity of a valuable metal component, and improve the quality of the final product to manufacture a high value added raw material.</p> |
