The present invention relates to a security product for a counterfeit discrimination and a discrimination method thereof, capable of preventing the counterfeit of a confidential document, an ID, a certificate, a passport, or securities including a check, a gift certificate, or a bank bill. The present invention provides the clarity for the counterfeit discrimination and easily discriminates the counterfeit by the general public or an expert with information provided by a manufacturer if the counterfeit discrimination is required by using the optical properties of a security product for the counterfeit discrimination which includes a fluorescent material to form a complex and a metal ion.
