<p>The present invention relates to a method and a system for recognizing the behavior of a human based on unit actions. The method comprises: a step in which an input unit receives information on the movement of at least one joint to represent the state of the movement of joints of a human; a step in which an unit action extraction unit extracts at least one major unit action from the information on the movement of at least one joint; a step in which an unit characteristic detection unit detects the characteristics of the action of joints from the at least one major unit action; and a step in which a determination unit classifies the characteristics of the actions of joints by at least one among types, times, and locations to determine the behavior of a human from the action of joints. Accordingly, the method and the system for recognizing the behavior of a human based on unit actions extract major unit actions which are important and classify the major unit actions into a hierarchy by at least one among types, times and locations, thereby improving the accuracy in recognizing the behavior of a human through the movement of the joints.</p> |
